The intention is to keep track of important data science related developments, discussions, and events on Twitter.

A day starts at UTC 08:00, because my timeline seems to have least activities at that hour (see the chart below). For example, today’s post collects tweets created or retweeted by people I follow from 2018-05-20 08:00 to 2018-05-21 08:00 in UTC (+00:00).

This project is inspired by Matt Kiser’s What The Fuck Just Happened Today?. I’m working on giving Mr. Kiser more appropriate attribution somewhere in the page template.

The current theme (jekyll-theme-leap-day) is chosen mostly for its automatically generated navigation sidebar, so longer posts can be more easily read. However, some of its default settings does not go well with this blog’s specific types of contents. I’ll try to improve the UX in the near future.
